Bermuda Portrait Photographers: AJ in St Georges
I have SO many amazing sessions from the winter that I haven’t shared yet! You’d think with a whole month of shelter in place I’d have had ample time to get shares posted, but honestly, between balancing a toddler at home and grad school still in session (and not being able to get to the office), my regularly scheduled posts fell behind. That just means MORE smiling faces to share NOW!
Meet cutie pie AJ - you might remember his Mummy, Candice, from her engagement session or from this dance shoot ! Candice was back on island in March and we met up for some sweet photos of her sweet boy - I can’t get enough of his personality. Just like his mum, this kid is made for the stage (but unlike his mum, maybe not the beach!).
I often get asked if it’s ok to do a session with just the kids - and the answer is always yes! While I am a HUGE proponent of getting mum and dad in the shots (mums who are always taking the photo and have none with you in them, you know who you are!), sometimes it’s also nice to get some fun shots of the littles alone. For these sessions I really don’t focus on posing, but rather letting you kiddo(s) do their thing and capture their activity/interactions while talking to them from behind the camera. When they can feel like it’s just a fun exploration in a space they’re far more likely to relax and be themselves.
So, who is overdue for some update photos of the kids?!
