2015 Year in Review
Without a doubt, 2015 was our best year yet! We opened the studio space in St George’s - a plan that had been in the works since we started the company in 2012. Finally it was time to take the leap to a full time capacity with Two & Quarter. We both quit our day jobs (Mark in February; Ally in September), and began the process of becoming a limited liability (shout out to Karen at CD&P for making that a breeze). In April, we celebrated our marriage with an awesome wedding in Savannah and then began our wedding season in Bermuda, shooting 51 weddings (3 of which were for family - yay), 124 portraits & events, and 51 photobooths! Along the way we made some exciting industry partnerships with Frameworks & Lowcountry Paper Co., and developed plans to further our own service offerings (stay tuned!).
It's been exhilarating and exhausting and utterly fulfilling in every way! It goes without saying that 2016 has some pretty big shoes to fill, but its certainly off on the right foot! Super excited to be named Wedding Wires Couples Choice Award winner, and we cannot wait to kick off what is sure to be another amazing year.
For us, our 2016 resolution is to BLOG more - and to better streamline our workflow so that we can keep this resolution on track! In the meantime, we’ll be sharing our 2015 weddings and portraits - but first, our YEAR IN REVIEW!
